Worship: What to Expect

Our Sunday morning worship flows from several convictions.  The grace and truth of Jesus Christ is both unmatched and deeply satisfying.  Our Presbyterian heritage points us to classic worship elements from the scriptures, which have also stood the test of time.  But we believe there is room to renew and revive those elements with contemporary cultural styles.  Our service includes contemporary worship songs, hymns reset to new music, a classic creed, prayer, the Lord's Supper, and sermons that seek to be faithful to both the Bible and the needs and challenges of our contemporary culture.  But we also do some unexpected things: we have a conversation together about the text after the sermon, we intentionally have times of silence, and twice a month during the Lord's Supper we pray for God's blessing for each family or person individually.   Come visit and then tell us what you think.  We want to hear from you; we really do.  (ross at gracehillchurch.net)
